Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Monterey Park, California that is locally operated and part of a national network. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team (full-time or part-time) in a high-quality, AAHA-accredited practice environment.

Hospital Hours
The hospital’s hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday closed.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, vaccinations & prevention, routine exams, internal medicine, dental care, geriatric care, care for puppies & kittens, emergency care, and surgical services.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a broad spectrum of services: vaccinations & prevention, routine exams, internal medicine, dental care, geriatric care, care for puppies & kittens, emergency care, cold laser therapy, boarding, surgery and laboratory diagnostics. The practice is AAHA-accredited, committed to modern technology, and focused on delivering compassionate veterinary medicine.

The hospital has six veterinarians supported by a skilled and dedicated team of technicians, assistants, and client service professionals. The team culture is collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented, with a shared commitment to providing exceptional care and maintaining a supportive, family-like atmosphere.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
