Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This small animal practice is focused on providing high-quality, comprehensive care to cats and dogs within the local community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling, with weekend coverage included as part of the rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves all responsibilities typically associated with a General Practice Veterinarian. The clinical focus includes wellness care, dentistry, internal medicine, and outpatient surgical procedures. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care including performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and delivering preventative care tailored to each patient. You will utilize a problem-based approach to develop diagnostic and treatment plans, document medical records thoroughly, and communicate effectively with clients. Clinical responsibilities include performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, exploratory surgeries, and mass removals, as well as routine and advanced dental procedures including extractions and oral surgery. You will also manage hospitalized patients and coordinate care with referral hospitals when needed. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with an emphasis on strong clinical skills, including confidence in small animal surgery, and reproduction experience strongly preferred.

Practice Details
This full-service veterinary hospital is equipped with a full surgical suite, digital radiography including dental x-rays, IDEXX in-house lab capabilities, Butterfly iQ+ Ultrasound, and Vetology AI Radiography. The practice provides a wide range of services including routine wellness, vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, illness and injury care, imaging, surgery, and dentistry. The facility also includes ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography, supporting high-quality medical and surgical care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
