Our client is a well-established, family-based small animal hospital in Manheim, Pennsylvania, seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their supportive and collaborative team. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position averaging 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, offering flexibility and predictable scheduling. The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. There are no after-hours emergencies or weekend shifts, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a variety of small animal cases, focusing on preventive care, diagnostics, internal medicine, and surgery. Orthopedic and thoracic cases are excluded from the surgical caseload. The role includes conducting wellness examinations, diagnostic workups, and providing client education to support long-term pet health. This position is best suited to an experienced veterinarian seeking a collaborative, supportive practice with opportunities for continued growth.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a modern, purpose-built facility constructed in 2011, featuring four exam rooms, a comfort room, separate cat and dog kennels, digital x-rays (including dental), a Mindray Vetus 7 ultrasound, and full in-house diagnostics. The practice offers a wide range of services, including wellness and sick visits, vaccinations, dental and surgical procedures, radiology, ultrasound, internal medicine, oncology, and chemotherapy. With a focus on patient comfort and continuity of care, the team ensures personalized, thorough veterinary service supported by advanced technology and a family-oriented culture.

Team
The hospital’s dedicated team includes two DVMs and a highly skilled support staff, including certified veterinary technicians and experienced assistants. The environment is collegial and supportive, emphasizing mentorship, teamwork, and the long-term growth and well-being of every team member.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
