Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and collaborative team. The hospital provides care primarily for small animals and offers a full-service environment including emergency cases, general medical care, surgery, and dentistry. This role is ideal for an experienced GP veterinarian with strong dental and soft tissue surgical skills, though mentoring for exceptional new graduates is available.

Working Hours / Rota
Specific doctor hours are open to discussion. The position is full-time and structured to provide a healthy work-life balance with generous support from the team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide full general practice responsibilities including dentistry, soft tissue surgery, wellness exams, and routine medical care. The role emphasizes high-quality medicine, compassionate client care, and effective communication with team members and clients.

Practice Details
The hospital maintains a 1.5–2:1 DVM-to-technician ratio, with multiple team members pursuing CVT credentials. Specialists are available through traveling veterinary services. The facility is state-of-the-art, comfortable, kid-friendly, and designed to provide a calm environment for pets. Employees are allowed to bring their pets to work.

Team
The veterinarian will join a team of two DVMs supported by veterinary technicians and assistants in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
