Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. The practice provides comprehensive small animal care supported by modern technology, a Fear Free approach, and an AAHA-accredited environment. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team that values high-quality medicine, flexibility, and professional development. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday and Tuesday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Wednesday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 1:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, and shifts are described as flexible.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality general practice care across a varied caseload. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, anesthesia, general and soft tissue surgery, spays and neuters, pain management, geriatric medicine, hospitalization care, and euthanasia services. The role also includes performing diagnostic workups, issuing health certificates, and supporting occasional exotic cases. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship and teaching support available.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography including dental radiography, a surgical laser, and hands-free radiology. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, and an in-office surgical suite. Services provided span primary care, preventive medicine, advanced and routine dentistry, surgery including orthopedic and bone and joint procedures, allergy management, wellness programs, diagnostic imaging, and pain management. The practice is Fear Free focused and AAHA accredited, reflecting a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and high clinical standards.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs supported by a great and experienced support team that includes veterinary assistants, credentialed technicians, a hospital manager, a groomer, and kennel assistants. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with an emphasis on teamwork, teaching, and delivering excellent patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
