Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This location is the newest extension of a trusted legacy that began in 1972 and is built on a foundation of clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care. Many team members have been with the hospital for over 25 years, creating a stable, experienced, and supportive work environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with flexibility in scheduling to support work-life balance and personal responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a broad range of medical services including pet wellness exams, surgical procedures, dental care, senior pet care planning, hospice and euthanasia, cryotherapy, in-hospital treatments, and client education. The role also includes the use of alternative therapies such as acupuncture and herbal supplements. The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinician who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine within a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with modern technology, including digital radiology, a cloud-based paperless practice management system, a full in-house IDEXX lab, and cold laser therapy equipment. A wide range of services is offered to support comprehensive patient care, and nearby access to specialty providers ensures continuity of advanced treatment when needed.

Team
The team includes 4 DVMs and over 21 support staff. With more than 130 years of combined veterinary experience, the hospital fosters a culture of mentorship, knowledge sharing, and long-term collaboration. The team is deeply committed to providing compassionate care to patients and building strong, lasting relationships with clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
