Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a mixed animal hospital providing care for both small and large animals, including exotics. They are currently seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their team. A doctor with an interest in exotics or someone eager to help grow their equine clientele would be especially welcome in this role.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. They are open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians and can offer flexibility based on the candidate’s needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice role, where daily duties will encompass a broad range of responsibilities including surgery, dentistry, wellness care, and internal medicine. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels. They offer structured mentorship for new graduates as well as leadership training designed to support veterinarians in reaching their career goals.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory testing, allowing them to provide comprehensive veterinary care to their clients.

Team
The team consists of three veterinarians supported by a confident and skilled support staff, which includes two full-time registered veterinary technicians and several assistants. They foster a collaborative environment focused on mentorship and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
