Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice provides comprehensive care for cats and dogs and is equipped to deliver both routine and advanced medical services in a supportive and well-established environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. This is a full-time position operating within these hours. The schedule offers a structured daytime rota with weekend coverage limited to Saturday mornings, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will see a balanced mix of sick and wellness patients, providing both preventative care and medical case management. Responsibilities include routine surgeries, dentistry, and managing medical cases across a variety of disciplines. The hospital offers services in cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, laser surgery, ultrasound diagnostics, and more, allowing for diverse clinical exposure. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support available to foster professional development and clinical growth.

This AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with hands-free radiology, ultrasound, laser technology, and tonometry equipment, enabling high-quality diagnostic and surgical capabilities. The practice delivers a wide range of services, including wellness care, routine surgery, advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, dentistry, and specialized services such as cardiology and dermatology. The clinic is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical excellence within a collaborative setting.
Team
You will be joining a team of two veterinarians supported by a brilliant and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, providing a positive atmosphere for both seasoned professionals and those at the start of their veterinary careers.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
