An AAHA-accredited animal hospital in Cottonwood Heights, Utah is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its six-doctor team. For over 40 years, this trusted practice has provided exceptional veterinary care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotics. The hospital combines advanced medical technology with a supportive, team-focused environment that encourages collaboration, professional growth, and compassionate, individualized patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
This full-time role consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, including a rotation of two to three Saturdays per month. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The structured schedule supports continuity of care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for a variety of species, focusing on both wellness and advanced treatment cases. Responsibilities include performing examinations, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, conducting soft tissue surgeries, and maintaining detailed medical records. The role requires strong communication skills, clinical excellence, and a commitment to Fear Free handling techniques to ensure both patients and clients receive the highest standard of care.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited facility is equipped with modern technology, including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, MRI, laser therapy, and an in-house laboratory and pharmacy. The hospital’s comprehensive range of diagnostic and treatment options enables veterinarians to practice progressive, evidence-based medicine. Team
You will join a dedicated team of six veterinarians and a skilled support staff who share a passion for compassionate, high-quality care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
