Working Hours / Rota
This role is ideally full-time at around 32 hours per week, with flexibility to consider part-time applicants, and includes only occasional weekend coverage on a shared rotation approximately once per month, with no emergency or on-call responsibilities.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, and medical case management, with flexibility to tailor the role to individual strengths and interests, including options for non-surgical caseloads, while building strong client relationships and working closely with the support team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
Practice Details
This well-equipped hospital offers digital and dental radiography, in-house IDEXX laboratory, a full surgical suite, and four exam rooms, alongside access to visiting board-certified specialists in surgery and cardiology, creating a strong clinical environment that supports both routine and more complex cases while maintaining a focus on preventative medicine and long-term patient health.
Team
You will work alongside an experienced owner and a dedicated support team, within a close-knit, collaborative culture that values mentorship, clinical development, and maintaining a positive, community-focused approach to veterinary care.
