Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a long-established small animal hospital in northeastern Ohio seeking a Veterinarian to join their two-doctor team. The hospital primarily serves canine and feline patients, with the opportunity to expand into avian and exotic medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm (6:00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays), and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. Full-time and part-time options are available, offering flexibility to suit individual scheduling needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing small animal wellness care, surgical services, and diagnostics within a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The hospital welcomes candidates with a passion for high-quality medicine and teamwork. An interest in avian or exotic medicine is a plus but not required. The position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with digital full-body and dental radiology, ultrasound, an in-house Abaxis lab, and electrocautery, supporting a wide range of medical, surgical, and dental procedures. Services offered include wellness care, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, behavioral counseling, nutritional advice, and cancer treatment referrals. The hospital fosters a supportive culture focused on continuous learning, high medical standards, and compassionate client service.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a cross-trained, enthusiastic, and collaborative staff. The environment promotes mentorship, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
