Introduction
Our client is a full-service, AAHA-accredited animal hospital located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian to lead their team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and is closed on weekends. This is a full-time role. Specific doctor hours can be discussed directly with the clinic.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This leadership position is suited for an experienced veterinarian who is confident in both clinical practice and team management. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, preventive care, internal medicine, dental care, urgent care, geriatrics, surgery, spay/neuter, and in-house diagnostics. The Medical Director will also play a key role in mentoring team members, guiding medical protocols, and fostering a positive clinic culture focused on growth and patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with a full suite of Idexx in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiography including dental, ultrasound, a Snyder oxygen unit, laser therapy, electrocautery, and a video microscope. The facility is both AAHA and AAFP accredited. A dedicated physical therapy center includes an in-ground pool, underwater treadmill, Companion therapy laser, and Piezo Wave shockwave system. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, geriatrics, urgent care, and advanced diagnostics. The hospital also maintains strong relationships with nearby referral and emergency facilities to support comprehensive patient care.

Team
There are currently 4 DVMs supported by a highly capable and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and progressive, with a minimum 2-to-1 assistant-to-doctor ratio and Fear-Free certified team members. The clinic culture promotes mentorship, professional development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
