Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Medical Director to lead a well-established, three-doctor practice in delivering high-quality, progressive, and individualized veterinary care. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys a hands-on clinical role while shaping a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The team observes a daily lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will serve as both a practicing clinician and a medical leader. Clinical responsibilities include performing diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures while ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. Leadership duties involve managing associate veterinarians, supporting regulatory compliance, and working alongside the Hospital Manager to guide financial performance and daily operations. The role is focused on fostering a team culture that emphasizes collaboration, patient care, and client service. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital features three exam rooms and is equipped with digital radiography, portable ultrasound, and dedicated facilities for surgical and dental procedures. The caseload is diverse, and the environment supports individualized medicine with strong diagnostic and procedural capabilities. The hospital maintains a balance of high-paced activity and a welcoming, family-like atmosphere.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs, five technicians, a dedicated client service team, and a proactive office manager. With staff members who have been with the hospital for over four years, the culture is tightly knit, collaborative, and focused on maintaining a positive work-life balance.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
