Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital located in San Pablo, California. They are currently seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical operations while continuing hands-on veterinary practice. This leadership role offers a chance to shape practice standards and make a meaningful impact in a community-oriented setting.

Hospital Hours
Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. They are looking for a Full Time Veterinary Medical Director

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee clinical quality and practice operations, mentor veterinary teams, and continue providing superior patient care. Responsibilities will include setting clinical standards, guiding staff performance, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the hospital.

Practice Details
The hospital offers services such as advanced dental care, allergy and itchy skin relief, orthopedic surgery, spays and neuters, and emergency care. The practice emphasizes long-term pet health and high-quality “hometown” care with modern standards of medicine.

Team
The hospital has four veterinarians supported by a skilled team of veterinary technicians, assistants, and client service professionals. Together, they foster a collaborative, compassionate, and professional environment dedicated to delivering exceptional veterinary care and supporting the wellbeing of pets and their families.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
