Our client is a well-established veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead their dedicated team. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a structured weekday schedule and a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with no weekend, emergency, or on-call hours. The role offers flexibility, predictability, and support through an excellent staff-to-doctor ratio.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide both clinical leadership and hands-on medical care, guiding the hospital’s medical standards, protocols, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include overseeing wellness care, anesthesia, surgery, diagnostics, dental procedures, and recordkeeping while ensuring the highest standard of patient and client care. The role also involves mentoring veterinarians and support staff, leading medical and operational initiatives, participating in hiring and training, and ensuring compliance and financial oversight. This position is suited for an experienced veterinarian with a strong interest in leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
