Our client is a well-established, community-focused small animal hospital dedicated to providing comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals in a collaborative and supportive environment. They are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their team as Managing DVM. With the current leader preparing for retirement, this is an exciting opportunity for a growth-minded veterinarian to take on a leadership role and guide the next chapter of the hospital’s success.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role offers flexibility, with full-time opportunities designed to promote a strong work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Managing DVM will oversee both the medical and operational aspects of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. Responsibilities include examining and treating companion animals, performing surgeries, interpreting diagnostic results, advising clients on treatment plans and preventative care, prescribing medications, and providing compassionate end-of-life care. The position also involves managing associate veterinarians, maintaining regulatory compliance, monitoring financial performance, and guiding the overall direction and growth of the practice. This role is open to experienced veterinarians with leadership aspirations who are ready to take on a key position within a supportive and team-oriented clinic.

The hospital features an in-house laboratory and radiology services, providing the tools needed for thorough diagnostics and effective treatment planning. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
