Introduction
Our client is a well-established, AAHA-accredited animal hospital seeking a Medical Director to lead their dedicated team. This five-doctor practice provides exceptional care for canine, feline, exotic, pocket pet, and avian patients in a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages clinical growth and leadership development.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position offering a flexible schedule to accommodate individual preferences and promote a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee the clinical direction of the hospital while maintaining an active caseload. Responsibilities include providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care, mentoring associates, and ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent client service. The role also includes the opportunity to practice and develop skills in advanced areas such as internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and integrative therapies including acupuncture and chiropractic care. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with structured mentorship programs available to support professional growth.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound, electrosurgery, and laser surgery instruments. The hospital also offers in-house laboratory and pharmacy services, enabling efficient diagnostics and comprehensive patient care. In addition to general medicine, the hospital provides a wide range of services such as wellness and preventive care, advanced dental procedures, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, reproductive medicine, geriatric care, nutritional counseling, and palliative support. The practice fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, empowering veterinarians to pursue their clinical interests while delivering exceptional care.

Team
The hospital’s medical team includes five doctors supported by credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. The environment is team-oriented and mentorship-focused, with strong clinical collaboration and a shared commitment to high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
