Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time or part-time Emergency Veterinarian to provide emergency and urgent veterinary care for dogs and cats. This AAHA-accredited practice offers a collaborative environment with advanced medical and surgical capabilities, supported by experienced veterinarians and a tenured support team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload of emergency and urgent care patients while delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic care. Responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnostics, emergency procedures, surgery, hospitalization management, and client communication. The role also involves collaborating closely with the veterinary and support team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and compassionate care. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys emergency medicine and working within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital has been serving the community since 1969 and provides emergency, general medicine, surgical, dental, and preventive care services for dogs and cats. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, EKG, Tonopen, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, oxygen and transfusion therapy, laser therapy, dental radiography, and surgical suites. Services include emergency care, advanced dental care, soft tissue and bone and joint surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, hospitalization, pain management, intensive care, and urology.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
