Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Emergency Veterinarian to join a large, state-of-the-art practice providing care to cats and dogs. The hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about delivering emergency and critical care within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on emergency and critical care cases, including triage, stabilization, and treatment of urgent and non-life-threatening conditions as well as more complex medical presentations. Responsibilities include managing emergency cases, providing intensive care, performing diagnostic workups, and collaborating closely with specialty teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. The position also involves working with advanced diagnostic tools and supporting high standards of clinical excellence. This role is suited to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
Our client is a large, modern hospital operating within a 28,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, offering a diverse and high-volume caseload. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including a 64-slice CT scanner, C-arm fluoroscopy, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiology, echocardiography, EKG, and a dedicated telemetry unit. The hospital provides a wide range of services including emergency and critical care, cardiology, dermatology, neurology, surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, physical rehabilitation, preventative care, dentistry with dental radiography, anesthesia, pain management, hospitalization, and intensive care. The facility also features dedicated imaging and ultrasound rooms and hands-free radiology systems. The hospital is AAHA accredited and VECCS certified, maintaining high standards of care and integrating fear-free methods throughout, supported by a progressive and well-established infrastructure.

Team
The team consists of 7 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, alongside a wider group of specialists and dedicated technical staff. The environment is highly collaborative, with strong integration between emergency, general practice, and specialty departments, supported by a progressive management team and an established internship program.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
