Our client is a premier 24/7 emergency and advanced specialty hospital for Cats and Dogs that is hiring an Emergency Veterinarian for an Overnight/Swing Shift position. Serving pets across Southern Arizona and beyond since 2004, the hospital combines advanced technology, board-certified expertise, and compassionate care to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients within a highly advanced referral and emergency setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for providing the full scope of Veterinary ER responsibilities within a fast-paced and collaborative emergency environment managing complex and urgent medical cases. The schedule consists of a hybrid overnight and swing shift rotation, averaging approximately 6 overnight shifts and 6 swing shifts per 4 weeks. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least 1 year of emergency practice experience, strong diagnostic and clinical abilities, and excellent surgical and dental skills. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced specialty team while handling a diverse emergency caseload within an advanced referral hospital setting.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, providing continuous emergency and specialty care services. In addition to 24/7 emergency and urgent pet care, the hospital also offers advanced specialty services including Radiology, Specialty Surgery, and Critical Care. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy equipment, and CT imaging, supporting the management of complex emergency and specialty cases across multiple departments. Facilities also include an in-house pharmacy, allowing for streamlined treatment and patient management within the hospital. The advanced specialty environment provides veterinarians with access to modern technology, collaborative case management, and the support needed to deliver high-level emergency and referral care.

The hospital consists of a multi-specialty team of DVMs supported by a high technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring excellent support for doctors and optimal patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
