Introduction
Our client is a brand-new, state-of-the-art 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital opening in Fall 2025 in West Chester, Ohio. They are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join their growing team. This hospital will be part of a well-established national network of specialty and emergency hospitals dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary care and clinical excellence.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a 24/7 emergency care setting. The schedule will include day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with flexible scheduling to support a balanced lifestyle.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will provide expert care to small animals requiring urgent and critical attention. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating emergency cases in a fast-paced environment, performing emergency procedures, and collaborating closely with specialists and support teams. Interest or ability in performing emergency surgeries is desired but not required. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and those looking to further develop their emergency medicine skills under the guidance of a collaborative and experienced network of doctors.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
