A progressive, full-service referral and emergency hospital in Tigard, Oregon is seeking a dedicated Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join its team of four board-certified specialists. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the hospital provides advanced medical, surgical, and diagnostic care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Working Hours / Rota
This position focuses on overnight and swing shifts to support round-the-clock patient care. Flexible scheduling options are available, including both full-time and part-time roles, ensuring an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Overnight Emergency Veterinarian will provide high-quality emergency and critical care to patients while collaborating with a team of specialists and experienced support staff. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive examinations, diagnosing and treating urgent and emergent cases, developing treatment plans, and providing clear client communication. The role emphasizes evidence-based medicine, compassionate care, and contributing to the hospital’s supportive, family-like culture.

Practice Details
The hospital features a bright, modern facility with advanced medical and surgical technology, including a 16-slice spiral CT, rigid and flexible endoscopy, arthroscopy, a dedicated ultrasound suite, and digital radiography. MRI and oncology services are available through close local partnerships. The hospital is known for its boutique feel, supportive leadership, and strong focus on the well-being of both patients and staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
