Introduction
This established 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty referral hospital in the Ogden/Sunset area of Northern Utah is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its growing team. Home to 12 veterinarians, including specialists in Critical Care, Surgery, and Radiology, the hospital provides a collaborative environment where emergency clinicians are supported by experienced specialists, highly trained technicians, and modern facilities. Operating from a purpose-built hospital opened in 2020, this is an excellent opportunity to practise high-quality emergency medicine in a team-focused setting.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you’ll manage a varied emergency caseload ranging from urgent presentations to complex critical care cases. You’ll collaborate closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive patient care while working alongside experienced technicians and support staff. The role offers the opportunity to practise advanced emergency medicine in a hospital committed to clinical excellence, teamwork, and outstanding client communication.

Opened in 2020, this purpose-built 15,000-square-foot referral hospital has been designed to support advanced emergency and specialty medicine. Alongside 24/7 emergency services, the hospital offers specialist support in Critical Care, Surgery, and Radiology, providing access to advanced diagnostics, modern technology, and collaborative case management. As part of a veterinarian-owned organisation, doctors also have the opportunity to become shareholders and share in the long-term success of the business.
Team
You’ll join a collaborative team of 12 veterinarians working alongside board-certified specialists, experienced emergency clinicians, skilled technicians, assistants, and client care professionals. The hospital promotes mentorship, teamwork, and continuous professional development, creating an environment where clinicians can thrive while delivering exceptional patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
