Job Description
Introduction
Our client is an ER / Specialty hospital that has been serving the community since 2005, and they are currently seeking an Emergency Veterinarian. The clinic treats cats and dogs and is dedicated to providing round-the-clock emergency care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of ER responsibilities, handling a wide variety of emergency and critical care cases. The position offers a 3-day per week schedule. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, making it an inclusive opportunity for those looking to develop or further their career in emergency medicine.
Practice Details
The hospital operates 24/7 and is housed in a 19,000-square-foot facility. It offers a comprehensive range of services including a full scope of ER services, Surgery, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology and Imaging. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including digital X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanner, MRI, in-house laboratory, and endoscope, though equipment is not limited to these. The practice supports a diverse and complex caseload within a well-equipped and structured environment.
Team
The team consists of a large, dedicated group of specialists and skilled ER colleagues, supported by a great team of support staff. The environment is collaborative and designed to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
