Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital that is hiring for a part-time weekend day shift OR overnight Emergency Veterinarian. The hospital sees cats, dogs, and exotics including birds, reptiles, and small mammals such as rabbits and hamsters. The practice provides both general practice and emergency services within a collaborative and fast-paced clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities within a busy emergency and urgent care setting. The successful candidate will manage emergency and critical cases while delivering high-quality diagnostics, treatment planning, surgical care, and client communication across a varied caseload. The role is specifically designed to support weekend day shifts, with availability required for all Saturdays and approximately six Sundays per quarter. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least one year of emergency practice experience, strong diagnostic and clinical skills, and excellent surgical and dental abilities.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday from 7:30am to 12:00am, Tuesday through Friday on a 24-hour schedule, Saturday from 12:00am to 5:00am, and Sunday from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope technology, and cold laser therapy for rehabilitation, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care across emergency, urgent care, and general practice cases. Facilities include a state-of-the-art veterinary facility, in-house pharmacy, isolation ward, fenced-in dog walking area, and a dedicated dental suite designed to support efficient workflows and comprehensive patient care. The hospital is AAHA accredited. Services offered include a full scope of GP, ER, and urgent care services, cardiology, and I-131 therapy. In addition, the hospital also provides climate-controlled pet boarding.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of nine DVMs supported by a tenured and highly skilled support staff, including certified technicians. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
