Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides emergency veterinary care for cats, dogs, and some exotics. They are currently hiring for an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24/7, and the Emergency Veterinarian schedule is flexible with both full-time and part-time options available. Full-time doctors typically work 10 shifts per four weeks, with various scheduling patterns offered to suit individual preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role focuses on emergency care, and applicants must be experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a newly renovated, well-equipped, and established facility located just outside St. Louis. With an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, fully equipped surgery suites, and an on-call radiologist, the hospital is prepared to provide efficient treatment for any type of emergency case. The management team is open to equipment updates and purchases to support the delivery of gold-standard patient care.

Team
The practice is supported by a team of six DVMs and a brilliant, close-knit support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
