Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time or part-time Emergency Veterinarian to join a brand-new facility caring for cats and dogs. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the hospital’s growth journey from the very beginning while helping shape the future of a modern emergency and specialty practice. The hospital is looking for veterinarians who are passionate about emergency medicine and providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for all aspects of emergency medicine, managing urgent and critical cases while working closely with the wider clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care. The practice is open to discussing scheduling preferences to create a schedule that works for both the successful candidate and the needs of the hospital. Applications are welcomed from experienced emergency veterinarians as well as doctors with a strong interest in emergency medicine who are looking to further develop their skills.
Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offers emergency services alongside internal medicine, surgery, and ophthalmology. The practice is housed in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern technology to support the delivery of advanced veterinary medicine and exceptional patient care.
Team
The team includes 3 specialists and 12 Emergency Veterinarians, supported by a fantastic team of support staff. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team provides an excellent environment for collaboration, professional development, and delivering the highest standard of emergency and specialty care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
