This AAHA-accredited hybrid animal hospital in Silverdale, Washington is hiring for an ER/Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its experienced multidisciplinary team. Role Description and Responsibilities
The ER/Urgent Care Veterinarian will manage a wide variety of urgent and emergency cases, working closely with colleagues across primary care, emergency, and specialty services to provide seamless patient care. Responsibilities include diagnostics, treatment planning, emergency stabilisation, surgery where appropriate, client communication, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to ensure efficient patient flow. The hospital welcomes experienced emergency clinicians as well as students and new graduates, offering structured mentorship and ongoing professional development in a supportive learning environment.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited, Fear Free and Cat Friendly hospital operates as a hybrid practice providing emergency, urgent care, wellness, and specialty services for small animals. The purpose-built facility features 16 examination rooms, two surgical suites, a dedicated dental suite, digital imaging, and hands-free radiology safety standards to support advanced patient care. The hospital is open seven days a week from 7:00am to 7:00pm, allowing the team to provide comprehensive care across a broad range of medical and surgical cases.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of eight veterinarians spanning primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and an internal medicine specialist. They are supported by an experienced team of veterinary technicians and support staff who foster a collaborative, educational, and patient-focused culture. The practice places a strong emphasis on teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuing education, creating an environment where veterinarians at all stages of their careers can thrive.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
