Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This dedicated emergency and intensive care hospital provides advanced emergency services for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to join its collaborative team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality emergency care for a diverse range of urgent and critical cases. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, developing treatment plans, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment, communicating effectively with pet owners, and collaborating with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to deliver exceptional patient care. You will also participate in hospital meetings, contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices, and engage in ongoing professional development through mentoring and training opportunities. This opportunity is suited to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This emergency and intensive care hospital is equipped with advanced surgical facilities, state-of-the-art digital radiography, advanced ultrasound technology, oxygen therapy for critical care, and in-house bloodwork capabilities to support the treatment of urgent, critical, and life-threatening conditions. Services include poison control, surgery, in-house diagnostics, and urgent care. The hospital is designed to provide a welcoming environment for clients and patients while supporting the delivery of high-quality emergency medicine. Hospital hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am, and from Saturday through Sunday the hospital operates 24 hours, remaining open until 8:00 am on Monday.

The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team. Many team members have been with the practice for over a decade, creating a close-knit, collaborative culture where teamwork, mentorship, and exceptional patient care are at the heart of the hospital.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
