Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open seven days a week, providing 24/7 emergency and specialty services, including weekends. This is a full-time overnight role designed to provide critical care during after-hours, supported by an experienced team of specialists and veterinary technicians.

Role Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Overnight Emergency Veterinarian with the skills and dedication to provide urgent and critical care for companion animals. Responsibilities include triaging and stabilizing emergency cases, performing advanced diagnostics, conducting emergency surgeries when needed, and collaborating with specialists in internal medicine, oncology, critical care, and surgery. You will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care for hospitalized patients and delivering compassionate, clear communication to pet owners during stressful situations. The role is suited to a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to practicing gold-standard emergency medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern specialty and emergency facility, offering advanced diagnostics and treatments including laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries such as total hip replacements and arthroscopic-assisted TPLO procedures. With cutting-edge surgical suites and highly trained support staff, the hospital provides soft tissue, orthopedic, and laparoscopic procedures on a routine basis. Services also include internal medicine, oncology, and 24-hour critical care. The facility is fully equipped to handle complex and urgent cases, ensuring comprehensive care for patients at all times.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
