Working Hours / Rota
Emergency services operate from 12:00pm to 10:00pm, providing urgent and emergency care during peak demand hours. The rota is structured to support sustainability and consistency, offering emergency medicine exposure without overnight shifts. Scheduling is designed collaboratively to balance clinical intensity with recovery time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage a varied emergency caseload, providing rapid assessment, diagnostics, stabilisation, and treatment for patients presenting with urgent and critical conditions. You will communicate clearly and empathetically with clients during high-stress situations and work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity of care. The position suits both experienced emergency clinicians and veterinarians looking to further develop their emergency medicine skills within a well-supported setting.

Practice Details
The hospital provides urgent and emergency care for dogs and cats, operating within a referral-aware model that supports collaborative case management. Clinical workflows and protocols are designed to support efficient, evidence-based emergency medicine, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care while working alongside a well-trained technical team.

Team
You will be joining a collaborative team of three veterinarians, supported by experienced technicians, assistants, and client care staff. The culture is professional, communicative, and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on mutual support, shared responsibility, and high clinical standards.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
