Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital providing care for cats and dogs, with a 30-year history in the community. They are looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis, with full-time preferred.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of emergency medicine, managing a varied caseload of patients requiring urgent and critical care. Doctor hours are open to discussion, allowing flexibility around scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3–5 years of veterinary experience.

Practice Details
The hospital is open 24/7 and provides a full scope of emergency and specialty services. It is well equipped with complete blood work capabilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, MRI, hemoperfusion, a ventilator, and a linear accelerator. The hospital is also a FearFree Practice.

Team
The hospital has a team of 19 DVMs working across multiple departments, supported by a great team of support staff. The team is dedicated to merging emergency and specialty medicine while maintaining a culture of collaboration. They believe in creating a friendly, fun, and collaborative work environment that values and rewards the hard work of both veterinarians and support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
