Introduction
Our client is a specialty and emergency veterinary hospital based in Rock Hill, South Carolina, seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their established team. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency and referral services, offering advanced care in surgery, neurology, internal medicine, and critical care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to practice high-level emergency medicine within a state-of-the-art facility supported by a skilled and collaborative medical team.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a 24/7 emergency facility. The emergency department operates around the clock, including weekends and holidays, ensuring continuous patient coverage. Specialty services are available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Scheduling is flexible to promote a healthy work-life balance and to accommodate both daytime and overnight shifts.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage a wide variety of urgent and critical care cases, providing medical and surgical intervention as needed. Daily duties include triage, diagnostics, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients, as well as effective communication with clients and referring veterinarians. This role is suited for veterinarians with a strong interest in emergency medicine who thrive in a fast-paced environment and value collaboration and excellence in clinical care. Both experienced and newer emergency veterinarians will find the hospital’s culture supportive and conducive to professional growth.

The hospital is part of a network of full-service specialty and emergency referral centers throughout the Carolinas. The Rock Hill location is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technologies, including advanced surgical suites, in-house laboratory, imaging equipment, and facilities designed for emergency and specialty collaboration. The hospital offers comprehensive services in emergency medicine, surgery, neurology, internal medicine, and critical care, ensuring patients receive the highest level of medical attention and continuity of care.

Team
The hospital’s emergency service is supported by a team of three emergency veterinarians and one veterinary surgeon, along with experienced technicians and support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
