Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join the Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands. This 26,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility provides 24-hour emergency services and critical care for small animals. They are hiring for a veterinarian who enjoys fast-paced cases, problem-solving, and working within a collaborative and skilled team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24/7.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on providing emergency medical care and critical care for small animals. The position is suited to those who enjoy fast-paced emergency cases and collaborative teamwork.
Practice Details
The hospital includes 2 fully equipped surgical suites, a dedicated video-endoscopy room, a spacious ICU/ER with an oxygen cage, Pulmonetic ventilator, species-specific dog and cat wards, a Fear Free certified cat ward, and specialized quiet zones. Advanced diagnostics include a Spiral CT scanner, ultrasound, and digital radiography, supported by modern monitoring and cautery systems in all rooms. Facilities are designed for efficient workflow, including overnight care. Services offered include emergency care medicine, procedures, imaging, endoscopy, an in-house laboratory, CASCO kennels, and end-of-life services.
Team
The hospital has 5 DVMs supported by a highly trained and licensed technician team on every shift. The environment is collaborative, efficient, and focused on high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
