Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Treating dogs, cats, and exotic species, this 24/7 emergency hospital has been serving the community since 1985. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated after-hours critical care team and is ideally suited to a veterinarian with a strong interest in emergency medicine and surgery.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities, providing emergency assessment, stabilization, medical management, and surgical care for a diverse caseload of dogs, cats, and exotic patients. You’ll evaluate and treat urgent and critical cases, perform emergency procedures and surgeries as required, develop treatment plans, and work closely with the clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, communicating effectively with clients during emergency situations, and collaborating with the support team to ensure efficient patient management. Scheduled shifts will include overnight coverage from Friday through Sunday. This opportunity is suited to an experienced emergency veterinarian with at least one year of emergency practice experience, strong diagnostic and clinical skills, and excellent surgical and dental skills.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of ER services, delivering emergency assessment, stabilization, diagnostics, medical treatment, surgical intervention, and ongoing critical patient care. Operating 365 nights a year and providing 24-hour service on weekends and holidays, the hospital is equipped to manage a wide range of emergency cases. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and ultrasound, supporting rapid diagnosis and treatment of emergency patients.

You’ll be joining a team of 3 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
