Introduction
Our client is a 24/7 emergency and referral hospital seeking a part-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for dogs and cats within a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role focuses on delivering high-quality emergency veterinary care, including diagnosing and treating urgent and critical conditions, performing surgical procedures when required, and managing complex medical cases. The Emergency Veterinarian will work closely with a team of experienced veterinarians, specialists, technicians, and support staff, while maintaining strong communication with clients. Additional responsibilities include contributing to case management, supporting hospital protocols, and collaborating with leadership to ensure the highest standards of care. This position is suited to experienced veterinarians who are confident in emergency medicine and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

The hospital operates 24/7, providing emergency services every day of the year alongside specialized referral care. It is an AAHA-accredited facility, reflecting a commitment to the highest standards of veterinary medicine. Services include emergency and critical care, surgery, oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation, and feline hyperthyroid therapy. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
