Introduction
Our client is a network of hospitals seeking a Traveling Veterinarian to provide clinical support across multiple small animal practices throughout Minnesota. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is designed for experienced veterinarians seeking variety while maintaining the security of a salaried position. The role offers the opportunity to practice across established hospitals with experienced teams while maintaining clinical autonomy.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Traveling Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across multiple hospital locations, performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, managing wounds, performing surgery, administering vaccinations, prescribing medications, operating diagnostic equipment including X-ray machines, and educating clients on preventative care and treatment options. The role requires close collaboration with each hospital team to deliver high-quality patient care while adapting to a variety of practice environments. This opportunity is intended for experienced veterinarians who are comfortable practicing independently across multiple locations.

Practice Details
The position supports a network of high-performing, community-focused hospitals equipped with advanced diagnostic technology and experienced clinical teams. Veterinarians maintain full medical autonomy while benefiting from clinical support, mentorship, and access to network-wide clinical outcomes data. Flexible scheduling options include either two weeks on followed by two weeks off or three weeks on followed by one week off, with additional scheduling flexibility available where possible. The role includes travel between hospitals, with flights, hotels, and meals covered for all assignments. Ongoing professional development is supported through dedicated coaching, leadership development opportunities, continuing education, and collaboration with a broad network of veterinary professionals.

Team
The Traveling Veterinarian will work alongside experienced, long-tenured veterinarians and support staff across multiple hospitals. The network emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, clinical excellence, and professional development, creating supportive teams focused on delivering high-quality patient care while helping visiting veterinarians integrate quickly into each practice.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
