Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Emergency Veterinarian. The hospital has been serving the Oklahoma City community for over 30 years and provides care for dogs, cats, and a wide variety of exotic animal species. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive hospital that combines general practice, emergency medicine, and advanced patient care within a modern, collaborative environment supported by a large multidisciplinary team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload within a busy emergency setting. The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing urgent and critical care while working alongside an experienced team of veterinarians and support staff. The role is best suited to a veterinarian with experience in emergency medicine who is comfortable managing a diverse caseload and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Practice Details
Operating 24/7, the hospital provides the full scope of GP, emergency, specialty, and wellness services designed to support critical care, surgical intervention, rehabilitation, and long-term patient health. Housed within a stunning 14,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, the hospital features nine exam rooms, a double surgery suite, a full in-house laboratory, ultrasound, radiology, a fully staffed 24/7 ICU, an in-house pharmacy, and the only pet-specific Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber in Oklahoma. Advanced diagnostic equipment includes, but is not limited to, a Vimago CT scanner, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house laboratory machines, and digital radiography. Additional services include pet acupuncture, further enhancing the hospital’s comprehensive approach to patient care.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of 14 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.
