Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring for a Travelling Veterinarian position. The role supports multiple locations across the Northeast region and focuses on delivering high-quality veterinary care for companion animals, while building strong relationships with pet parents and local communities.

Working Hours / Rota
Specific hospital opening hours and doctor schedules are not provided. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and involves travel across the Northeast, including Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Flexibility is required to support different locations as needed.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include providing wellness and sick visits, performing dental procedures and surgeries, and delivering compassionate, client-centered care. The Travelling Veterinarian is expected to embrace low-stress handling techniques, adapt quickly to different clinical environments, and work collaboratively with multiple teams. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm for companion animal practice, and a passion for supporting the human–animal bond are essential, along with the ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
