Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency and specialty care for cats, dogs, avian species, and exotic animals and is looking for an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join its Emergency Medicine team. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional emergency and critical care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality emergency medicine and critical care as part of a collaborative Emergency Medicine team treating more than 100,000 patients annually. You will manage a diverse emergency caseload while working alongside specialists to ensure outstanding patient outcomes. This role is suited to experienced veterinarians who are dedicated to practicing emergency medicine within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is AAHA accredited. It provides emergency services alongside specialty care in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced surgical suites, blood transfusion equipment and blood products, Computed Tomography (CT), Continuous Electrocardiogram (EKG), incubators, an in-house laboratory, isolation wards, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), multiple digital X-ray suites, thermally regulated oxygen cages, and ultrasound. The practice cares for more than 15,000 patients annually and fosters a collaborative, family-oriented culture with opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and shareholder ownership.

Team
You will join a collaborative team of 25 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The multidisciplinary team works closely together to deliver exceptional emergency and specialty care while promoting teamwork, compassion, and continued professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
