Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. Dedicated exclusively to emergency medicine, this well-established hospital has been providing after-hours emergency veterinary care to the Memphis community for over 40 years. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced emergency veterinarian to join a busy, fast-paced hospital focused entirely on emergency and critical care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities, managing a diverse emergency caseload while delivering high-quality care to cats and dogs requiring urgent medical attention. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating emergency cases, performing emergency procedures and surgeries where required, and working collaboratively with the wider clinical team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Specific working hours will be discussed. The practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian with at least one year of emergency practice experience, together with strong diagnostic and clinical abilities and confident surgical and dental skills.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of emergency veterinary services and operates exclusively as an after-hours emergency facility. Opening hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00am, with 24-hour service provided on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, ensuring continuous emergency care for the local community. The clinic is equipped with, but not limited to, all of the equipment and resources necessary to provide comprehensive after-hours emergency veterinary care, allowing clinicians to confidently manage a wide variety of emergency and critical care cases in a dedicated emergency setting. Having served the Memphis community for over four decades, the hospital has built a strong reputation as a trusted provider of emergency veterinary medicine, offering veterinarians the opportunity to work within a purpose-built environment dedicated solely to emergency care.

You will be joining a team of 16 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
