Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides emergency and urgent care services for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will provide emergency and urgent medical care for cats and dogs, managing a wide range of cases from non-life-threatening conditions requiring immediate treatment to emergency presentations. You will work alongside a supportive team, delivering high-quality patient care while confidently navigating complex medical cases in a dynamic environment. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a passion for emergency medicine who values collaboration and continuous professional development.
Practice Details
The hospital is dedicated to providing emergency care for pets when their regular veterinarian is unavailable, alongside outpatient urgent care for dogs and cats requiring immediate treatment for non-life-threatening conditions. The practice fosters a close-knit, collaborative culture where innovation, teamwork, and the ongoing development of best practices are encouraged. Professional growth is supported through access to a wider network of hospitals and development resources. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Saturday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Flexible scheduling is available to help support a healthy work-life balance.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
