Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage emergency cases within a fully staffed emergency and specialty hospital environment, working collaboratively with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating emergency cases, coordinating with specialty teams for ongoing treatment and advanced procedures, and contributing to a collaborative and team-focused approach to medicine. The role offers exposure to critical care, surgery, anesthesia, oncology, cardiology, radiology, and internal medicine cases in a high-level referral setting. This opportunity is suited to experienced veterinarians looking to practice advanced emergency medicine with strong specialist support and access to extensive diagnostic and treatment resources.

Practice Details
This 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital provides continuous emergency and critical care services alongside specialty support in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, anesthesia, radiology, cardiology, and critical care. The hospital is equipped with CT, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory to support rapid diagnostics and treatment planning. Services include emergency medicine, critical care and ICU support, surgery, anesthesiology, oncology, radiology, cardiology, and internal medicine. The ICU is overseen by board-certified critical care specialists and provides continuous monitoring, oxygen support, telemetry, and intensive nursing care. Surgical services include emergency, orthopedic, soft tissue, and oncologic procedures. The hospital emphasizes collaborative medicine and continuity of care, ensuring patients can receive specialist support without needing transfer to another facility. The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Team
The hospital has more than 18 doctors across emergency and specialty services, including eight experienced ER DVMs, five board-certified Criticalists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and internal medicine specialists. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
