Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. The position is open to either full-time or part-time applicants and involves working exclusively with cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for managing a full scope of ER cases, handling a wide range of urgent and critical conditions. The role requires confidence in emergency medicine and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Doctor hours are open to discussion, allowing flexibility in scheduling. This opportunity is suited to veterinarians with at least 1 year of experience.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24/7 and is AAHA accredited, offering a full scope of ER and specialty services. It is equipped with in-house bloodwork, digital X-ray, anesthesia, surgery, oxygen support, blood and plasma transfusion capabilities, digital radiology and ultrasound, as well as endoscopy.

Team
The practice has a large team of DVMs across multiple departments, supported by a great team of well-trained support staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
