Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Providing emergency veterinary care for cats and dogs, the hospital offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced and dynamic clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality emergency care to its patients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities, providing the opportunity to manage a varied and challenging emergency caseload with autonomy over clinical decision-making, diagnostics, treatment planning, stabilization, and ongoing case management. You’ll utilize the hospital’s advanced diagnostic, monitoring, and surgical capabilities to support effective management of emergency and critical patients while maintaining consistently high standards of care. You’ll work closely with the wider clinical team in an environment where collaboration, communication, and efficient case management are central to daily practice. Flexible scheduling options are available, with an emphasis on creating a working environment that respects both professional commitments and personal life. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and those looking to develop their emergency medicine experience, with strong mentorship and ongoing training available for clinicians eager to grow their skills in this area.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of Emergency services within a 24/7/365 clinical environment. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, and an in-house CT scanner, providing advanced diagnostic capabilities to support its emergency caseload. Facilities include Oxygen Cage Therapy and Cardiopulmonary Monitoring, full surgical facilities, and an In-House Pharmacy, providing a well-supported environment for emergency and critical patient management.

Team
You’ll be joining a team of 5 DVMs, supported by experienced clinical and client service professionals with clearly defined roles designed to promote effective teamwork and strong clinical workflows. The hospital includes long-tenured team members and places an emphasis on shared knowledge, continued learning, and maintaining a supportive environment where veterinarians can continue developing professionally.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
