Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a highly advanced 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital. The hospital sees cats, dogs, and ZooMed patients and is seeking an Emergency doctor to join their team of specialists. What began 30 years ago as a veterinary surgical referral clinic has grown into one of the largest and most trusted specialty hospitals in the country, offering advanced patient care within a collaborative and academically focused environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities within a fast-paced and highly advanced specialty hospital environment. The successful candidate will manage emergency and critical cases while collaborating closely with multiple specialty departments to deliver comprehensive and high-quality patient care across a diverse caseload. The hospital is also interested in applicants with a passion for teaching, as the practice supports a strong rotating internship program alongside visiting extern students. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced emergency veterinarian seeking to work within a collaborative referral environment that values advanced medicine, education, and clinical excellence.

The hospital holds AAHA accreditation, reflecting its commitment to maintaining exceptional standards in veterinary medicine. Services offered include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, neuroradiology, orthopedics, cardiac surgery, neurologic surgery, stem cell therapy, and are not limited to these specialties due to the hospital’s highly advanced and continually expanding capabilities. Team
The hospital is home to a team of 27 veterinarians working within a collaborative and highly specialized environment. Their Emergency and Critical Care department includes three Criticalists and eight additional full-time emergency doctors, supported by an excellent and highly qualified technical staff, a dedicated client service team, and experienced hospital managers.
