Our client is a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency hospital for Cats and Dogs that is hiring a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian. The hospital is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while providing veterinarians the opportunity to work within a collaborative emergency and specialty environment alongside board-certified specialists.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for providing the full scope of ER responsibilities within a busy emergency hospital setting. The role includes working closely with board-certified specialists in Radiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery to coordinate patient care when required, offering exposure to a diverse and complex emergency caseload. Doctor hours are to be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable working within a fast-paced and collaborative clinical environment while delivering high standards of emergency medicine and patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day from Monday through Sunday, offering walk-in emergency appointments only. In addition to a full scope of ER services, the hospital also provides specialty services including Radiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory, supporting efficient workflow and comprehensive emergency patient care. Facilities also include an in-house pharmacy, allowing for streamlined treatment and case management within the hospital.

Team
The hospital consists of 5 DVMs supported by a dedicated team of veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. A high doctor-to-technician ratio allows veterinarians to focus on practicing medicine while being fully supported by experienced and skilled team members. The practice fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and mentorship, creating an environment where veterinary professionals can continue developing their skills, pursue ongoing education, and achieve long-term career growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
