Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Lithia Springs, GA, seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The hospital provides trusted, high-quality emergency care in a state-of-the-art, 6,000 sq. ft. facility serving clients west of Atlanta and surrounding counties.

Working Hours / Rota
This role offers full-time or part-time opportunities with both day and evening shifts available. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am for overnight coverage, weekends from 12:00 am Saturday through 8:00 am Monday, and remains open 24 hours on all major holidays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage a diverse range of emergency and urgent cases, utilizing advanced technology and a well-trained support team. Responsibilities include performing emergency surgeries, diagnostics, and critical care management. This position is open to experienced veterinarians eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Practice Details
The facility features a state-of-the-art surgical suite, oxygen therapy cages, a comprehensive in-house laboratory with ProCyte DX, Sedivue DX, and Catalyst systems, as well as a brand-new digital radiology system. Known for delivering premier emergency veterinary services in Georgia, the hospital has built a strong reputation within the community.

The hospital is supported by a team of multi-DVMs and highly skilled technicians, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment to ensure exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
