Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This 24-hour referral and emergency hospital provides advanced emergency and specialty care for cats and dogs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality emergency care within a well-equipped referral environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities, providing emergency medical and surgical care for cats and dogs presenting with a wide range of urgent and critical conditions. You will assess, diagnose, stabilize, and treat emergency patients, develop comprehensive treatment plans, perform emergency procedures as required, and work closely with clients to provide clear communication throughout each stage of patient care. You will also collaborate with specialists to ensure continuity of care for referred and hospitalized patients while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and client service. The role offers a flexible schedule with an average of 12 shifts per month. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least one year of experience in a veterinary practice, strong diagnostic and clinical skills, and excellent surgical and dental skills.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing continuous emergency and referral care. The practice provides the full scope of Emergency services alongside specialty services in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Oncology, offering a diverse and complex referral caseload. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital Radiography, 3-D HD CT Scanning, an In-House Laboratory, In-House EKG capabilities, and Ultrasound, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Facilities include Hyperbaric O2 Therapy, a fully equipped facility, and an In-House Pharmacy.

You will be joining a team of 9 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
