Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour emergency and specialty veterinary hospital providing advanced care for dogs and cats and is currently hiring a full-time Emergency Veterinarian. The practice focuses on delivering high-level emergency medicine supported by advanced technology and a collaborative clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a full-time position, with flexibility mentioned for part-time coverage if needed. Specific shift patterns are not detailed, but the role is based within a continuous emergency care schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage a diverse emergency caseload involving dogs and cats, serving as a key provider of urgent and critical care. Clinical responsibilities include emergency diagnostics, stabilization, treatment planning, and collaboration with specialty teams when required. The role involves working closely with other emergency and specialty veterinarians in a fast-paced environment focused on world-class medicine. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with advanced veterinary technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, echocardiography, EKG, and hands-free radiology. Services offered span emergency and specialty care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, intensive care, oxygen and transfusion therapy, pain management, and comprehensive diagnostics. Preventive and primary care services are also supported, creating a full continuum of care. The practice culture emphasizes fear-free techniques, collaboration, and continual learning within a specialty-driven setting.

Team

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
